Air Conditioning

We offer a range of air-con services to the public and the motor trade, including servicing, air con re-charge, de-gassing, leak testing and odour removal.

Full Air Conditioning service including air con re-charge: £65 + VAT*

• Initial system check
• Check system components such as hoses, belts and condenser
• Check internal system controls
• Recover any existing refrigerant from the system
• Vacuum the air con system
• Antibacterial and odour removal **
• Re-charge the system to the vehicle specific levels
• Leak test components
• Full post re-gas system test
• Update service records.

* there is £10.00 discount if the air con service is done whilst having a vehicle service at the same time

** not always required on an air con service — however, if necessary, we can carry out odour removal at an additional small charge

So why should you have your air con serviced?

Your car air con system depletes over time, losing up to 15% of the refrigerant every year. This is why we recommend that you should have your air con system serviced every 2 years. A poorly performing system can cause a build up of fungus and bacteria which in time can cause smells and even lead to Legionnaires' disease.

Diagnostics

Engine Diagnostics from £35 +VAT

Most people don’t realise they have a problem with their engine until the Engine Management Light comes on, or suddenly their car is running poorly.

As Diagnostic specialists, we have invested in technology to diagnose the problems with your car, whether it be EML coming on, or a failure on the MOT due to Lambda or Oxygen sensors.

• Our technician will identify symptoms of engine performance problems
• We will check industry bulletins, manufacturer recall information and tune up specifications
• We will obtain trouble codes from the vehicles' on-board computer (if applicable)
• Once diagnostics are complete, we will only perform repairs that you authorise
• All repairs are backed by our warranty (ask for details)
